Society of St. Vincent de Paul

Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (or "Vincentians" ) are men and women who strive to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to individuals in need. We are young and old. Our members come in every shade of skin color. Some of us are wealthy, some are financially poor, but all of us are blessed with an awareness that our blessings (time, talent or treasure) are to be shared with our brothers and sisters in need.

We are a social service organization that strives to offer person to person contact with those in need. We especially like to focus on the areas mentioned in the corporal works of mercy:
                                                  •To feed the hungry;
                                                  •To give drink to the thirsty;
                                                  •To clothe the naked;
                                                  •To harbour the harbourless;
                                                  •To visit the sick;
                                                  •To ransom the captive;
                                                  •To bury the dead.

We also work on the spiritual works of mercy.

Members meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 8:00pm in the Loreti Hall Meeting Room.

Rosary Society

The purpose of the Rosary Society is to praise and honor the Blessed Virgin Mary and her patronage by the recitation of the Rosary for the mutual spiritual benefit of all throughout the world. The only obligation of membership is to recite the fifteen (twenty) mysteries of the Rosary once a week.

Rosarians meet once a month on the first Monday at 7:00 P.M. in lower Chiego Hall unless otherwise noted in the Parish Bulletin to recite the Rosary and enjoy a monthly social. Rosarians meet in the Church on the First Sunday of every month to publically recite the Rosary at 10:10 A.M. prior to the 10:30 A.M. Mass.

Our Rosarians sponsor the Religious Article Room known as "Mary's Grotto" which is located in the lower room of the Assumption School (Religious Education Building). Rosarians contribute to Parish Life through a variety of activities that flow from their devotion to Our lady's Rosary: they support "Several Sources” home for young mothers and their babies, actively support Pro-Life Activities, bake for parish functions, and sponsor fund raising events.

 All are welcome!
